Microbiology

We find that many of our patients have parasites that have never been addressed. At Center for Advanced Medicine we know how to test for accurate results to determine if microorganisms are causing your health problems. A person can be infected by contact from pets, intimacy with spouse, kissing, insects and undercooked meats and water.

What are microorganisms?

Microorganisms are parasites that inhabit our bodies, usually to our detriment. There are six primary types of microorganisms.

  • Protozoa and amoebas
  • Worms
  • Bacteria
  • Viruses
  • Fungi and yeast
  • Mycoplasmas

Both the microorganisms themselves and the conditions that support them need to be addressed and eliminated. Testing of various types, such as stool test and blood test, can help to identify the presence and types of microorganisms.

Microorganisms can also be a primary problem; some infections can overwhelm even a healthy body. If the infection or infestation is secondary, the primary causes, usually toxicity, structure or gluten must be dealt with before the infection can be brought under control for good.

The three steps to the elimination of microorganisms are:

  • Identify the problem, determine whether you have microorganisms and of what type.
  • Identify and eliminate conditions that allow the microorganisms to thrive in your body in the first place. This includes the elimination of toxins that weaken your immune system – the immune system would otherwise fight them off – and also remove their food, such as sugars that feed yeast.
  • Treat the family and pets and eliminate the microorganisms themselves with prescription medications and herbal formulations. Parasites go through cycles and treatment may need to be given more than once for complete results.
